Who doesn’t want a Dash?
Okay, who wants to buy me this?
I have really wanted a nav for some time now, but have been holding off for obvious reasons. But this one might make me rethink that strategy a bit. Now, if only I had a new car…

Who carries cash, anyway?
To further fuel my debit-card frenzied life, I’m happy to say that I’m a huge fan of the soda machines (typically in hotels, at least in the U.S.) that allow for the use of a credit/debit card to purchase soft drinks. CNNMoney picked up an article today from Fortune Small Business that talks about USA Technologies kicking out its latest machines to Coca-Cola, 1,000 machines in total. These new machines take both cards the traditional swipe way, as well as the new RFID cards, which the bulk of the public knows under names such as PayPass.
Last week, after landing in Philadelphia on a return trip from Dallas, I caught one of these machines on my way out the door to the car. Thankfully, it took a card because I had a $20 bill on me, and that was it. And, at 1:15am, there is just about nothing open in the airport, so this soda machine was a life saver. Now…if only I hadn’t paid $.50 more than if it wasn’t a credit card machine…

Worst. Shirt. Ever.
Umm, thanks [I think] to David for sending me the link to this shirt. It’s so bad, yet it will probably sell a lot of product.
And you thought it was odd that people sit around all day making up jokes and writing greeting cards.

If Starbucks raises its prices, how can you tell?
Just read this item from Bloomberg News’ Mary Jane Credeur, about how Starbucks is bumping its prices about a nickel on average across the board. My only statement here is: How can you tell? When I worked on Wall Street in NYC, the three or four Starbucks on our street all had different prices – on the menu – for exactly the same drinks. Sooo, after a while, you don’t really care. Non story, if you ask me.
