Blogging and being cited

Well, I guess we can throw out the fact that journalists aren’t reading blogs and using them as examples or places to get information - including quotes - from. Back on September 26, I had written this item over at AdJab about how Catherine Zeta-Jones was going to be dropped from T-Mobile advertising in the near term, and that her contract would not be renewed.

Well, this week I was going through the few “vanity” Google News RSS feeds I have for myself, and caught the fact that this article in the UK’s Sunday Times had cited both myself and Chris Thilk, who had made an obnoxious statement about CZJ’s participation in T-Mobile’s ads. As if across the pond wasn’t far enough, The Australian picked up the article on Monday.
