MetaFilter is one of my favorite Websites, and has been for as long as I’ve visited it and been a member. The posts completely vary in quality, but that’s what happens when you have a site like that – a “community weblog,” as it were. Tonight, I caught this post about Charley, a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. It’s quite moving, whether or not you dig cats, I think. I’m sure my pal Lauren will get a kick out of it. The vid does a great job of showing that cats facing cerebellar hypoplasia are perfectly fine as pets, and don’t appear to need any special care (aside from the bumps and bruises they might cause themselves), obviously pushing for adoption of these animals and promoting the fact that they need not be destroyed when this is their only challenge. I urge you to take a look and pass it along.
