Just wanted to send a big congrats to the Kansas Jayhawks for taking home the men’s hoops national championship last night against Memphis, 75-68 in overtime.

I’ve been a huge KU fan since about twenty years ago, presumably it was right around the time that Danny Manning & Co. were taking home the school’s last title, and I was in seventh grade, I think. After a ton of disappointing NCAA tournament appearances since then and the apparent impossible nut for former coach Roy Williams to crack being busted by Bill Self and his crew, hopefully the Jayhawks won’t have a fear of the Sweet 16, Elite 8, or Final Four for years to come.
