Listening to The Slip
A few days ago, Nine Inch Nails announced the “release” of a new record, The Slip, on the band’s site. As of this moment, the post has received more than 8700 Diggs and more than 5500 comments to the posting. This comes just a short while after NIN’s Ghosts release, which Rolling Stone noted made Trent Reznor an “instant millionaire.” This release, then, is just his latest “thank you” to fans of the group, and certainly won’t be the last.
This morning, I’ve been taking a listen to it and it’s a pretty good thing to have been thrown out there for $0, in my opinion. If you’re into Nails and need some new stuff, go grab it. If you’re not, or haven’t listened much of late, then give it a whirl as well.
