McCain’s dig on American Idol
Did you catch Republican Presidential candidate John McCain’s dig on “American Idol” on Thursday night at how the Democrats are handling Michigan and Florida? Needless to say, it was pretty well done and smart, and I’m hoping he came up with it himself, even if I am a Democrat.

Jordan’s big stroll
I just read a note from one of my Web “colleagues,” Jordan Running, who let a number of us associated with AOL’s Propeller that he’d be walking from Iowa City, Iowa all the way to Key West, Florida, starting on Sunday, March 9. The first thing I’m doing after reading that is posting this item, because I thought it was one of the cooler things I’d heard about in a really long time, and that I thought it worthwhile to share.
I’ve known Jordan for a number of years, first through Weblogs, Inc., where we both wrote for various blogs. I think I had met him I think only once in a get-together we’d all had after AOL had purchased the blogging company. I’d just like to take this space (yay @ self-publishing) to wish Jordan the best of luck on his trek, and kudos for working the site together and choosing to “take us along” with him the whole time.
You can check out Jordan’s trip at Jordan, Walking. I’m excited to see how he journals it for us, and I’m sure that following it will offer us a look at a whole lot of the U.S. that we might not get to see otherwise.
newsnewsnews?

and we’re surprised that eminem’s new disc debuted at number one because why?
and the world cup has a new, livelier ball - is this so the americans can score for once now? looks like goalie keller is a little hurt lately. we’ll see if he shows up this weekend.
