Sopranos Finale
I’m not going to comment much here, as I’ve already done so elsewhere, so go check out my writeup of the series finale of The Sopranos over at TV Squad.
Out in Nisswa
I’m out in Nisswa, MN for the next week just hanging out and trying to get in some R&R during Memorial Day week. Was a little disappointed at the lack of EVDO at the lake house, but what can you do. Thankfully, all the coffee shops in town have wireless, for free, so that doesn’t work out too bad. Going to try and get my Sprint phone to work properly as an Internet connection, but I’m not sure if that’s going to work, either.
Should also have some fantastic pictures, especially after heading out on the boat this afternoon. There’s a loon nesting down by the water, and the sun is just amazing out here.
Back to reality, though, I’m psyched to see the House finale on Tuesday, so keep your eyes out for my writeup over at TV Squad.
Updates in general
Okay, after four days of craziness, here’s the shiznit.
- Moved to Weehawken. Ping me if you want to know how to reach/ mail me things/ buy me stuff
- Just spent $5.25 on a tuna sandwich at Starbucks. Guess I can’t complain about FYI any longer
- Finding Twitter to be one of the cooler things ever.
- Found it interesting that I couldn’t get an English-language change of address form at a Post Office without asking
- got a new ride a few weeks ago. I’ll post photos on Flickr soon.
- Still haven’t gotten Elite on Continental. Am hoping to have done so before May.
RSS reading
I’m feeling kind of bad that I’ve more or less abandoned FeedDemon of late, as much as I love it, as I’ve been stuck on RSS on my MacBookPro almost since I had gotten it. I’m finding it much easier to operate in my work Windows system where I do my Outlook and browser-based tasks, and keep MarsEdit, NetNewsWire, and other browsers open. Twitter is on the Mac, Trillian on the PC. I’m still learning a bit about NNW, and it doesn’t have all the things that I love about FD, but it’s close. I’m guessing they’ll all play nice nice at some point, no?
