So I ordered Transformers yesterday from Amazon.com, figuring I would get it by Wednesday or Thursday, given that I have Amazon Prime, and that it came out today. Turns out the DVD showed up for me today…
Wonder if it was some sort of galactic convergence related to the fact that I sent messages from Optimus Prime to like 20 people yesterday and last night and I’m a Prime member. I guess we’ll never know.
What I do know, however, is what 2-disc DVD I’ll be watching at least once this week.
Okay, Autobots, transform and roll out.
Or not.
In any case, make sure you wake up your favorite colleague, friend, or relative today with a phone call from Optimus Prime, whose voice they will hear greeting them with a bundle of useful information about someone in their life that may have moved over to the Decepticons.
You can’t make this up. I find these especially useful to send to people who have NO IDEA where it might have come from, if only because they later say “I got the strangest phone call today,” never realizing where it came from.
